Hi,

I have noticed that one of my crankcase's bearings has a free play and seems to have a very little week.

How do I know if I have to replace it? It has a very little play if i move the inside of it, nearly not noticable.

If I got to replace it, can I take a propane torch and heat it (the crankcase) to get it out?

Thank you again for your help.

I wouldn't be able to get it out with an hammer and heating the crankcase? I'm talking about the bigger bearing...

In the shop manual they say to press it out but not to it press in... :ermm:

you are correct!! just remembered that you don't press them in for the simple fact that if it is not in perfect and you continue to press you get into trouble lol.....and use a dead blow hammer if possible
