88 and 89 spindles different

Was getting ready to buy some 88 spindles for my 89 on ebay and noticed the 88's are stepped and not tapered. I take it they won't work.

The 88 spindles would work with your 89 hubs. But first you would have to remove the tappered spacer between the bearings in your 89 hubs.

yea, thats what i had to do too. just remove the tapered spacer and the hub will slide all the way on, no problem
