LMAO! AK-47s arent "anti-american", hell, 90% of the vietnam vets that I know would gladly take an AK over an AR-15 or M-16. Hell, most of them tell stories of how they would ditch their M-16s in combat and take the AK-47s off of the dead to use instead.

Also, as for your 6.8 AR, I wouldnt trade any of my AKs for that. For 1, the ammo is NOT readily available (at least not in my neck of the woods), and when it is, its very expensive. Two, take your AR and bury it in your back yard in the mud, dig it up in 5 days, chamber a round, pull the trigger, and tell me if it fires lol. Anyone of my AK's would and I am speaking from experience!

Dont get me wrong, I own a DPMS Panther Bull 24 in .223, and it will out shoot any of my AK's hands down when it comes to accuracy. But when the SHTF and the enemy is within 150 yards, guess what!? Im breaking out the AK's! Knock em all your want but their still the worlds best and most reliable assault riffle PERIOD!

Just out of curiosity though, what makes you say that their Anti-American? 95% of AK's within the last 30 years are either made in, or assembled in the good ol US of A! Thus, contributing in the form of funds and jobs! Hell, Arsenal, the company that builds the SAM-7 is located in Las Vegas Nevada lmao!

I was home from college to watch over the farm when my parents were gone. I had some people over and drank some brews. Things died off, I was in the shower, just getting ready for some sleep. Then a buddy said someone was pounding on the door. So I thought some ***gots were messing around with my house. So I grabbed my gun ( It was unloaded) and walked into the garage, Then I saw it was the police, so I was scared and quick went in the house, they followed me in and tackled me. .

The police made it sound like we're in some hollywood stand off or something.

I know it probably wasn't the smartest thing, but there is a lot of bull **** with it too. It just beats me how its illegal to protect your well being by going to the door with a fire arm, in the middle of the night

They charged me with a terroristic threats, and obstruction of justice. So now I have a felony on my recorded, which sucks cause I basically can't go to college, or get a decent job. I was going to go to an aviation college and my commecial license next year, thats all out the window, the only thing I've ever wanted to do.....

what sucks also with our government is when you buy an assault rifle and you have to sign the papers, once you die the government takes over that rifle, so when you do go out and buy a assault rifle buy one off your friend or some guy so you wont have to sign papers.

They can't legaly take your assault weapons. If you die the weapon goes to your estate. Who ever gets the weapon in your will has to sign papers and show your death cert. to take legal ownership of the weapon. I know this because I went through it twice now. At least thats how Pa works.

Just saw this. Very nice setup. Get a Badger forend (like the one on my precision AR), paint it to match the stock, and you're the man. Love that PRS stock.

BTW - what optic you using on that stick and how does it shoot for you so far?

If you guys are into AR15's, you should try and find mags now. After the election there has been a HUGE run for all available mags since everyone is afraid Obama will sign another assault weapons ban.

Magpul Pmags are very hard to find, but the Lancer L5 translucent mag is still available at some shops. These are sweet mags and were manufactured for Colt.

Yep that is a ruger MK II and yes that is a 10/22. I got that stock a while back on ebay and have not been able to find another like it since then. The MK II is a great 22 i love it, its great to get some target practice in for cheaper than using the 1911.

Yea my shotgun is a 870 also, I am buying an AR lower, they will be the first thing banned when our new pres gets in. The lowers will be banned but if you already have one you can just build the rest later. Also any magazines over 10 rounds, which includes a lot of handguns, will be banned. So if you know you want to buy a gun that can take a mag with over 10 rounds i.e. springfield xd, glock etc... buy the mags now, that way later when you buy the gun you already have the pre-ban mags.

For those of you try to buy Magpul Pmags, they sell out from dealers in hours. It's insane. They are very hard to find. If you do find them, people are charging crazy prices. Much higher than retail.

Here is the Lancer L5 translucent mag. I like them better than a Pmag and you can still find them at dealers.
