400ex/450r hood

Hey I bought a Generation X hood the other night and was told it would fit my 1999 400ex..but it wont work right on this style 400ex fenders. And I want to sell the hood but dont want to rip anybody off. Will the hoods interchange? Will the 04-07 style 400ex hood work on a 450r? For all i know it is a 450R anyways. I can get pics

I mean the 05-07 400ex. being how generationX never made a hood for the 400ex im pretty sure its a 450r hood. its black and has some scratches but nothing major. It has a blue stick on number plate. they sell new for almost 200 bucks. If anybody is interested PM me or email me at Tsedsell@gmail.com.
