pros and cons of 06-08 z400's

true its not a honda. I prefer the 400ex over the z400. Not just because i have 1 but even before that. I do like liquid cooling better and I think the newer z400's have the gas front shocks which is good but 450r fronts on the 400ex i think are better. Um I havent heard many problems from z400's really.

the reliability is not in the z400s. i had a 05 z400. traded it for 2 400exs. best move yet.:D

pro: little bit faster then a 400ex

con: frames are S**T!!!, 2 of my buds have em and both of there frames are cracked

pros- liquid cooling, better front shocks, good performance stock

cons- some frame issues with the early models, stock intake valves wear out pretty quick, and the swingarm design is absolutley garbage IMO

^^^yea the rear swingarm is WAY bigger than it neds to be.

yea that, and the fact that the adjusting bolt is jsut a pain in the ***.

and i dont care for the design of the swingarm and carrier at all

i think we went through about three adjustment bolts, because they kept snapping off flush in the carrier,

thank god for that lsr swinger :p
