i have been running honda hp4 w/o moly in my yfz since i got it. i was thinking about going with a better oil. what do you guys run?

Amsoil synthetic you can actually feel the difference when you change over from regular oil ,smother clutch and shifts.

ok thanks for the help even tho i spelt oil wrong. when i switch over to a synthetic. do i need to get that engine cleaner stuff, my buddy used it when he switched to synthetic. u put it in your oil and run it for like 5 or 10 mins and it cleans your engine up.:confused:

Not necessary, just drain all the old oil and refill with the new. Don't forget to change your filter, too. ;)

yea i change my oil and filter after about every 6 hours or riding.

Have been running bel-ray thumper semi synthetic for last 3 oil changes...runs a lot smoother than yamaha oil...shifts smoother too. have not heard much about others....I would advise you to try the bel-ray it runs wicked smooth even when cold and it's sitting there idling warming up....works great for me

I use ams oil and it is by far the best. And yes you can tell a difference when you switch
