Can someone tell me what the stock 2008 DRR 90 clutch springs are rated at? RPM Range

I'm not sure the stock spring would be rated. One thing to keep in mind is the clutch weight. On my 2008 90, the stock clutch shoes weigh just under 80 grams a piece. As a comparison, the stock shoes from a Kasea were 175 grams a piece. That reduced weight has a drastic impact on the engagement RPM. I'm guessing the ratings given to thes springs is for a "stock" weight clutch, not the "lightened" one that seems to be stock on the DRR.

What I was referring to is measured in RPMS meaning a 1500 RPM and 2000 RPM springs

With the standard DRR clutch set up we would recomend a 1500 for a stock replacement

I have switched to an 17 tooth front spocket from a nineteen like you sugested gary but I lost alot of top end and its seems to slip more... But after 20 feet hold on ... I heard you had suggest 1000 rpm springs to forgiven.. Could you clarify.. Any help is great

Thats what I keep asking forgiven? Lower the clucth engagement seems like the opposoite Of what I have ever done .. I have always lightened clutches and put higher rpm springs in... Maybee you told him a 100 rpm torque spring and he thought the other ... Will call you later to get right stuff!!!!

Hey Gary

He has one of my quads and I put the 4G rollers in the front, he also changed the front to a 17T. We were talking about clutch slippage on the take off and I said that per our conversation that 1000 RPM koso clutch springs might help with the engagement in reference to the slippage. I also said it MAY engage a tad lower but overall should be closer to where he wants to be.

If that information is wrong just email me where I am screwed up so I can correct the information I am giving out so I am not giving bad advice.

Thanks

Your good Steve

I will weigh the tamasida clutch and the fRc clutch to see if there is a difference.

I think a stronger torque spring will help too

are you sure the clutch is slipping , under full throttle launch it would be very unlikly. Could you be experiencing a lug or lack of rpm at launch? and once rpm gains to power band it takes off? if so follow Gary's advice and look toward t-spring and roller combo.
if you guys could better describe your symptoms and your goal you are trying to achieve , we can better assist your efforts , give lots of detail so we dont steer you incorrectly. are you trying to crawl up hills slowly? make full throttle launches ? increase low-end pull , top end speed ? etc

We just had a problem and one of the things we found was that the main comp gear was broke loose and slipping ,time for a little tigging.
