Hi all,

I'm going to order a SPAL fan but I would like to know which one should I use?

4" Motorcycle/ATV Fan (Push only) (# 30103009)

4" Motorcycle/ATV Fan (Pull only) (# 30103018)

Thank you again for you help,

John

Go for the pull.

Definitely puller, usually you would use the pusher fan if there was some type of clearance issue that wouldn't allow the puller to be used.

I got a PM from him yesterday:

Re: SPAL Fan
It will be a while before I do another large Spal order, but these guys should be able to take care of you. The Spal fans are towards the bottom of this page.

You get what you pay for. The quality of the fan is top notch, and they move a lot of air for such a small unit.

Go with a puller, there isn't enough room for a pusher.

ya i looked around for a small 12v fan. i found some 120mm or 4.7" computer fans that were sealed or "enviro coated". they are just as expensive i think they are for cnc machines. i found some cheap blades at grainger to make my own. i will add some links but im just going to bite the bullet and buy one. its sad i can get a 10 or 12 inch off ebay for $20. i found some nascar/boat blowers that look nice too.
