aight im looking to completely re-do my 06 yfz450 i have just got it done for 07 mx season and been racing it this season and im lookin for some ideas on a color theme suggestion for this winters project im wanting to keep the black bumper grab bar and PC my nerfs black and wheels also i want to get new plastic and PC my frame maybe candy blue but open to suggestions also need a color for swing arm and a-arms also any other suggestion im open to but just wantin to get an idea on what i want to do this coming winter thanks

the nerfs look fine polished IMO, but a black frame and swingarm would def. look pretty sick!!! that hood looks pretty nice on that type of cut. I would try to get front yellow singlebeadlock hipers and rear black dual beadlock hipers. But as it sits it looks really good!!

I powder coated my 400ex frame and swingarm gloss black...it came out great....(that ex is for sale BTW)

honda's:rolleyes: (j/k)......i think maybe a yellow quadtech seat cover, and if you call up CV4 they can most like get you yellow hoses...but i'd think you'd have to call to get them specially made.....maybe PC the cluctch cover yellow?? idk you have a lot of options:eek2:

umm i was just showing you what a black powder coated frame and swingarm look like....geez man... unfortunately my yfz is stock so i had nothing to show but i completely redid my ex and had a powder coated frame / swingarm combo to show you.....

if this is a hijack then i guess i will delete it....

i like the ideas of yellow hoses, but i would stay away from any yellow on the engine (Covers). I say a yellow one with the right side case cover yellow and I thought it looked horendous. Just my 2 cents though.

Heres a couple ideas...

-yellow CV4 hoses
-pc nerf bars black
-pc frame and swingarm black
-hiper rims with yellow rings
-bottom cases of engine pc black
-new graphics kit
-Also my .02 I liked the hood better when it was on but if you didnt thats totally your choice

yeah man i like the idea of black beads with yellow rings and cv4 hose my blue bike has those and id like to pc the frame candy blue then everything else black thats my 0.02 but thanks guys for helpin me out im still open to any ideas and thanks for compliments also and i like the dark grey plastic that came stock on the 07's i had the quad tech hood on the forums for sale 4ever then had it sold to a guy and decided to c what itd look like on my bike and actually liked it but the guy had already sent payment or id kept it

Pc the frame the 2005 candy apple red. Use the black plastic from the 2004 with the red tribal art graphics some guy on ebay sells the oem plastic for about $400. Pc the swing arm and a arms a stealth gray metallic. Some polished aluminum bead lock rims. Any how the possibility's are endless.

keep your bumper and grab bar black, pc your frame, a-arms, and swinger the brightest yellow you can find. pc your nerfs black also. if you wanna get beadlock wheels, you can have your rings pc yellow also. and then black plastic to top it off. i think that would look insane!
