So has anyone had a chance to ride or run against a 700XX??

My main curiosity is about the ride and handling compared to the outlaw, I wonder if the diffrence in geometery produces a big diffrence in the performance of the machine.

No,
But,

I thought the 525 irs was the heaviest sport quad out there but
coming in at like 600 lbs i'm not sure why honda even went though with building it
sure it may have some more cc's and hp but with that much weight it cant be that smooth of a ride or that fun to ride aggressive
it will still be smoother than a staight axle but probably not like the outlaw

The honda site claims it at 500lbs ready to ride. So it would realistically be 100 lbs heavier than an outlaw, which is still too much in my opinion. Apparently the motor isn't that snappy either.

No, are you serious??!! Geez, that raptor must have been handed to Yamaha himself.... And on the 8th day, God created the Raptor 700R.... Eff DirtWheels!

The XX outperforms the 500 Outlaw, no question. The XX doesn't have nearly as much "snort" as the 525. The power on the XX is more smooth, more linear. But the XX handles very good, despite its' weight. I never noticed the weight difference on the trail, and I was coming off a 03' Raptor. And I agree Dirt Wheels SUCKS!!

I've seen a 700XX in person, Ridden a Raptor 700 quite a bit, and i'd say the Yamaha and Polaris are pretty close, depends the riding differences as to which i would buy.

The honda looked great in person, much better than in pictures, smaller than i thought it would be.

But its weight and price are drawbacks.

Another thing, the Raptor 700 IS a great quad. It has just about everything you could want in a sport quad besides a pro rider to win the race against your buddies for you.

I guess im done rambling.

I'd pick the Outlaw over the Honda. Based on what I've seen, and read, but i have not seen the outlaw in person.

The 700xx won the baja 500 and was clocked around 100MPH. IF that doesnt make a statement then idk what does. HMF is trying to get a 700xx in their hands to make exhaust for them and after uncorking them i'm sure people wont be saying its underpowered or anything like that.

Its a Honda so I'm pretty sure its realiable and fast enough for what it was built for. Never really known of Honda to build crap. I would like to see how it does against the outlaws. :D
