View Full Version : 98 TRX300 no spark

I am not getting spark to the spark plug on 98 TRX300fw. Checked both leads to the ignition coil and I'm not getting any power. Also checked the wires to the rectifier and on the two that connect to the battery I'm getting power on one. but the round plug with 3 wired im not getting anything. I'm really not sure how to trouble shoot this any help would be appreciated.

Well its not the CDI box. Good new is now a have a spare in case it is.

Well damn so i was laying in bed, it came to me. I couldn't stand it i went out at 12 midnight. I just installed a new winch wiring kit. The problem was the wire i soldered and heat shrunk for the rocker switch to only work with the key turned on had come un done. My mad skills at work again. Ever wanted to slap yourself?
