the only cons is: no lights and alot easier to stall. the pros: new, digital, better spark, more consisant, higher rev, easier/cheaper to adjust advancing and more aftermarket support.

what u mean no lights? they dont run off that

You can not have lights with a CR250 ignition. Unless you get an after market stator for it. Even then the ones i've seen are only 50 watts.
