what octane gas do you use when you run a 12.5:1 compression ratio, adn do any of you use octane boosters? do they work?

ok guys with that compression you have to no doubt or buts you have to run race gas

not fuel addittives can be used but i find them not to help much at all, they are unsafe and unsafe for your quad do to varying mixture rations and could be to much or to little

YOU WONT BEABLE TO RUN THEM ANYWAY A COMPRESSION RATIO OF ALMOST 13:1 IS GONNA REQUIRE A HIGH AMOUNT OF OCTANE TO HELP IT RUN MORE EFFICIENT AND THE BIGGEST THING IS RUNNING COOL

if you run that motor on anything less than 103 it is gonna run hot way to hot i suggest running vp 110 octane and maybe mixing it allittle to 93 so it dont hurt your wallet any but if you can afford it run it pure

the biggest thing is running it on high octane so it runs cool

if you run that on reg pump gas you take a chance of maelting right through the piston
