i just went out to the shed to get my 400ex ready and my rear shock is blown!!!

should I rebuild and respring(for my weight) the stock one or just buy a aftermarket one?

if i was to go with an aftermarket rear shock what brand ,how much aboutare they and where should i buy it?

tell you what man, if you want the best rear shock out there, get a Custom Axis long travel rear, you have to move your shock mount up one inch on the frame, but you get that much more travel out of it. a new axis shock will run around 750 i think...quadshop would probably be the place to go for that

the dennis kirk mag has dual rate works for about 500-600 depending on your weight and riding style.

yeah, heres a pic of mine, you have to have someone cut it off and reweld it angled up..

send it to PEP and get a rebuild and ZPS conversion. Its only like 3 weeks from when u send it to when u get it back. Its 450 for the conversion but it might be more since u need a rebuild too
