That first guy on the kxf is there all the time. I see him there a lot. The next jump I want to do there is the step up you were taking the pics of. I think I can get it. I just have to nut up and do it. That stat finish jump is a wierd jump sometimes. If the faster riders are whipping off it, they put a wierd lip at the top and it throws you really wierd. I've only made it up there once this year. I'll probably go up again once I get my gears in my truck and or go with my dad or my buddy.

haha I did about 3/4's of the step up on the ktm. Tried it once, cased it, havent' tried it since.

no. When I'm there, if you there are 2 quads there that day I'd be surprised. I'm getting the feeling that they don't like a lot of quads up at rocket. When I go I might see one, but that's it.

near orbisonia, that should be on the map. its probably 10 miles from there. check out their website they have directions.


and yeah it is pretty much in the middle of no where. first time i went, i was going back that skinny dirt lane through the woods thinking theres no way theres a track back here.


yea there weren't any quads there sunday or monday, i had mine up but didn't feel like riding so i decided to take some pics

It is NOT pretty much in the middle of nowhere...It IS in the middle of nowhere..:D Like the facility but hate the ride there...

I'm pretty sure they only allow quads to practice on Sat. I've been up there a few times. Not much on mx but they have a nice XC loop.

I've heard their XC track is pretty kick ***, but haven't been on it. I don't even know where it starts!

yeah that xc loop kicked my asss. i stopped about half way through and said screw it. i think thats about when i decided i wasnt going to try racing xc. it also gave me a lot more respect for the xc guys.

Race with an open practice in the morning. There website says practice at 1:00 and racing at 2:00 but you know how that is. BTW it's a mx race.

No worries, I can handle shooting some mx:)

As long as it doesnt look like a rain out, i will try and come up and shoot the race. I have to cover a XC in the middle of WV on sunday so it would round out my weekend

go figure all you guys would go up to rocket the day I leave for vacation. I wanted to race up there, but we're leaving at like 3 in the morning, so that shot that idea down.

I would never doubt your ability with a camera. I am watching the weather also and trying to find out how many people are actually going. It's wouldn't be much fun if there is a light turnout especially after driving to the middle of nowhere.

I might. I just put that LSR front end back on so I wanted to run it a little first but oh well. I'll let you know.

I should have Codys 300 together (or I say Kevin should) but he isnt racing hard just yet. I think a few weeks orf riding before he goes all out is best.....but he will probably be there to cheer everyone on.
