i have an 05 450r
hmf slip on, open airbox, 175 MJ, 50 pilot, 2 turns out on the air screw (played with it a lil more thats what seems to work best)
stock needle set on 3rd clip
somethings still not right on the bottom it falls on its face when i really lay into it
any suggestions would be really appreciated
thanks,

try the slow jet or possible going up on the main and then adjusting fuel screw theese are just guess with out really knowing what you mean by the fallin on face you might be to far out on the fuel crew no more the 2 full turns this will be for the 0 to 1/4 throttle

i may try that... i also ordered an hrc needle
what i mean by falling on its face is.... for instance say im cruising along pretty slow and hammer the throttle it just boggs really bad, then will finally go
the problem only occurs at lower speeds when i really get on it out of a corner or something

Is ur accelerator pump squirt good?
Make sure its not clogged and not hitting the slide.
Doubt your jetting is causing it.

ok.... so i took apart the accelerater pump and the seal at the top of the shaft was gone.... there was all kinds of dirt and gunk in it and the shaft was actually bent a lil bit.... straighted the shaft out and replaced the seal and cleaned it reallly good and still acts the same...
thanks
