vavle train noise

i just rebuilt my motor and added a stage 1 hot cam . are they supposed to be noisy ? sounds like the valves are lose but i adjusted them to hot cam specs !

mine has always bin a bit noisy too. then i recently went to a 12.5:1 piston and it has gotten worse. i always thought it was the hotcam but maybe something else???? but in your case it probably is just the cam

Mine has been noisy since day 1. If you set the valves to specs while the engine is cold, then you will be fine.
