pumping throttle before starting?

okay, so my 300's a little hard of starting so i usually need to pump the throttle about 2 times before trying to start it

well, lately i've been hearing that when you do that, most of the gas seeps down past my rings and goes into my oil? confirm/deny?

i doubt it. When you pump the htrottle not that much gas is pouring in. And if your cranking it over and getting a spark then I cant see it ding that. Maybe if you pumped it more and didnt try and crank it over then it would seep down but other than that i think its fine

your not going to get gas in the oil case you would have to hit the gas 200 times
