Valve Noise

Three time this weekend i would start up my bike and the valves would make a tapping noise for about 5 seconds and then it would stop, i adjusted my valves before i went out this weekend, and checked them again when i got back and the valve clearance is perfect, and like i said it would only happen for about 5 seconds. What could this be?

it will tick 4 a lil bit untill the oil is curculating and gets to the valves

oh good, thank god i thought my oil pump might be taking a dump. Thanks for the help.
