Well I got my quad running finally. It was a timing issue like everyone was saying, but its Hondas fault. The crank gear that has a dimple on it that lines up with the arrow on the outer case, is mis stamped. So when they are lined up its not at TDC.

As soon as I got it fixed I loaded everything up into our trailer and we headed to Highpoint for the national and my first time riding in 6 months. We got there at about 11pm thursday and got settled in. During the night we woke up to the carbon monoxide dector going off. I open the door to get some fresh air in and some ********* with a huge 5th wheel is parked about 4ft from our door. With his 100 hp generator running full bore with the exhaust pipe pointing into our window.

The next morning I signed up for Open A and 4strke A, since its been a while I wanted to make sure I would race sunday too. Practice goes good all day except for a broken chain that I got fixed.

Saturday morning I am the first moto of the day, I go out for practice to see how the track is. I started to double into the rythem section after the grassy off camber turn. Well on the last lap I came up short and my back tires hit the landing bucking my quad up and packing me into the dirt and then continuing to flip over again. Well this messed up my knee and snapped my shifter off.

First moto comes up I get stuck in the gate cause Im a noob and Im rusty, so I catch up to the pack and begin to pick guys off and I spin out around a turn. I ended up finishing 12 out of 17 for Open A. On the way back to the trailer I feel my clutch begin to slip. After I was my quad I fire it up and try to pull it away, but I have to give it full throttle in 1st gear to even get it to move. (thats my clutch right?)

Ya it was, cant forget about getting fired from my job of 2.5 years because I didnt call off and couldnt find cover. But there was no way I was missing this race. hehe:devil:
