I just put on extended arms ,along with a gforce axle. The axle is wider than I would like. Are any honda hubs narrower and still have the same splines.

owners of predator 90 mini quads put honda hubs on their mini to get it wider on each side. so i would guess you could put the predator 90 hubs on the honda to narrow it up.

Depending on the offset of the rims and the wheel design I have 2 friends that routinely remove the rear wheels, turn them around, and bolt them on with the valve stem side inside. This narrows it by the difference in the wheel offset.

I thought I might get some 200x hubs ,I think they are a couple inches narrower.

just a question but why would you buy extended a arms and an extended axle...then make the axle almost stock width?

btw if you have a press. just push the studs out of the hub with the press and put them in backwords. so then you put the hub on backwords and itll save you an inch or 2

I got the stuff used . I wanted to be 2-3 inches wider than stock but the rear ended up being 4-5 inches wider since I run 22 X drives its really wide. This is my main tight woods rig and I dont like worrying about smacking a tree with the super wide rear. Its at least 4 inches wider than the front I wanted the geforce axle because of the strength and my stocker was a little tweaked.WIth the other hubs it will still be some wider.

If you are using 9x9 rear rims.. you'll have a 4+5 offset. You could simply flip the wheel around and you'd be 2 inches narrower.

Another option would be to press out the lugs and install them backwards, flip the hub around, and you should be about 1-1/2" - 2" narrower on each side. I beleive the rim will clear still. You'll have to grind down/smooth out the back surface so you can get a good seat.

Is your rear axle adjustable w/ the spacer collars? Most aftermarkets are. Are you as narrow as you can get?

Yeah Im all the way narrow on the axle.ABout the narrowest hub I have found is the 200x hub,I think I wil try those. That will give me a little over an inch on each side .I might try the flipping the wheel around thing and see how that does as well.

man the predator 90 hubs will fit and are 1 inch narrower on each side. probably get a set cheap over on the mini quad forums. pretty sure the 250x are the same as the 300ex.

Ill see if those minis will fit. I have a set on one of those chinese 50s. Maybe those will work.

early honda sport quads/3wheerlers hubs weren't so wide.

the 200x, 350x, 250r, etc.

They also had a different spline pattern, as far as I know, unfortunatley. ;)

I know that the ATC250R & ATC350X at least had 25 splines, whereas the 300ex has 24. So I know those won't work. Don't know the spline size/qty on the 200x.

I have 3 wheelers and am a member at 3ww. I have 350x/250r hubs they for sure wont work. The 84 and back hubs are the same splines as 300ex. I have some 82 250r hubs but they are the stamped steel style with a different bolt patterso so I can use those. It looks like the 200x will narrow me up by 2-2.5 inches.Im still trying to get a set for a good price.

stock 300ex hubs. from wheel mounting point to wheel mounting point is 31 1/2"

this is a pic with just one predator 90 hub on the axle with a 300 hub on the other end. length is 30 1/2" which with the other hub on the other end would make it 29 1/2" so it would be 2" less than the stock 300 hubs.
