Clutch Lever Change

My buddy has an 03 raptor 660 he changed his clutch lever to an aftermarket moose unit, what does he have to do with the perches so it will run properly. He is constantly setting the idle. i joined the 2 wires for the reverse perch and seperated the parking break perch, but i found a thread to unclip that white clip.
Any info will be great thanks.
