im looking to get $1300 this would cost basically $2000 from lrd, $1700 for the cylinder and then another $250 for arlen to port it. this also comes with the cylinder head, near new piston, spacer plate, and gaskets.

does this work with the 86 motor, or just 87 up?

it will work on either, you would just need the spacer if you were running it on a newer lower end. this actually came off a short rod motor also know as 86.

Whats the porting set up for, what kind of head does it come with, what bore is it on?

ported xc, comes with a normal pro-x head, bore is 78mm setup to run race fuel. Will be listing on ebay shortly if there's no takers.
