ok i got one for ya.
i recently rebuilt my 05 450r motor. cp 12:1 postion.head port.hc stage 2 cam. well i first put it back together the rings did not seat so i bought new ones and tore it down. well on top of the piston there is a light circle mark from where it seems to have touchd the valves on the intake side,but not the exhaust. i figure u could use playdow to check the clearance but u cant because on the intake stroke the piston is moving away from the piston. well wouldn't that mean the valve springs are to weak and can not pull the valve out of the way of the piston in time when the piston comes back up after the intake stroke? please fill me in if i have made a mistake. also they are stock valves and springs. and they are in like new shape.
