what do yu guys mean when you talk about grinding out the welds ont the stock headers? I can't find where it would do any good.

By grinding out the welds inside the head pipe you increase the pipe size. This will increase the flow of exh gases.

Grinding out the welds does less than you think.The only thing you will really notice are the cracks it creates from the vibration of the motor.......tried it and rewelded it!!!!

I think that you took out the wrong welds. I would like to know how you got inside the pipe to reweld it. The size of the pipe is just over 1 in.

Grinding the welds to clear the restriction will not give you anyproblems. If you continue to open the ports larger you can break through the wall.
