88 engine in a 86-87 frame ?

Does anyone know if I can put my 88 250r engine in a 86 or 87 frame ? I noticed that the 86-87 frames have a diffrent rear engine mount than my 89 frame.

sure can, all the same motor design besides the crank's and a few other things, but overall the case mounting points are the same. My brother's motor he has now is an 88 or 89 in his 86
