300ex horse power

im thinkin a stock 300ex will maybe make about 15 horsepower atleast, but i dont know. Does anyone know, and also do you think with the mods i have that i would have near a 5 horse gain over stock.:confused:

Its about 17 hp. 13 is more like the 250EX.

ok the 300 has 17hp stock

not to get 5 hps easy and cheap

order exhaust good one not cheap ( some are only noise makers and put out nothing over stock)

air filter

jetting


this will give you alot more noticable power

not with a cam and high compression you might put out somewhere near 27hp almost 10 over stock

if ui want a 5 hp gain get a pipe, filter, rejet, and a stock bore high compression piston with a mild cam. If u want a lot get a higher comp and a better cam buit then u need to hardface rockers and get cam chains and stuff

you can run up to a .440lift cam without hardfacing your rockers that s if your quad isnt old and has little hours

you dont need to get a new timing chain either

with a cam,good pipe, high compression stock bore (13:1), carb,filter air box mods i was pushing 28hp

now i have a 395 big bore 13:1, ported and polished head, extreme head mods,frc pumper carb, and more

with hmf pipe it is18-20 hp range
that is acording to hmf's dyno
