is bored .050 good?

im a first time wheeler owner and just got an 87 banshee from my bro in law.it was just bored .050 with numera pistons and im curious no know if that is good?any helps is appreciated-thanks

It isn't as good as it is bad.

There is basically no power gain in boring a motor for refreshment. Of course it adds up when you get to .050 but still, it isn't as good as it is bad.

The bad part is that Wiseco only makes a piston for it up to .060, so you can blow it up once and rebuild it but if you blow it up again after that you will have to replace the entire cylinders or have them resleeved, which is expensive especially on a Banshee.
