You are probably lugging the engine more during trail riding than riding in a pit. So next question is what is your current jetting and what mods are done to the Banshee? Also what is the altitude and temperature around you?

Are lugging the engine around during trail riding?

Well the things that will affect you jetting are the PC Pipes, K&N Filter, and the Timing Plate(a little bit).

I would recommend that you take apart your carbs(remove the bowls) and look to see what Main and Pilot Jets are in there, as well as what clip position the clip is on the needles.

Also would like to know what your air temp is and your elevation above sea level.
