yeah drill holes on both sides and use zip ties, or get a metal plate on one side and use rivets

the zip ties sound easier

The "mold" method isn't that great...my friend did it, and it was a total mess....the zip ties look much cleaner, not to mention they will probably hold up better.

i use a sodering gun. i run it down the crack and melt them together. then, after it cools, i take a propane torch and heat the whole area up and i have a really wide screw driver that i go over it with and thats it. i did this over a year ago and it is still holdin, and it was one of the front plastic mounts. with zip ties, it almost looks like frankenstien.

NOOOO dont use zip ties!!

I use a propan torch, screwdriver and the piece of plastic that were my front fenders.. I cut small pieces about 1 inche long and 2 mm large. I heat the crack and then I put a small piece of platic at the right place, heat it a little bit and spread it with the driver.

PS you need to be 2 persons to make this , 1 to heat the plastic, and one to hold plastic in place cuz it dont have to move while you fix it.

it holds great for me.

If you ride a 300ex/250r its a diffrent story, since its so much more expensive.
