will anyone here be at the Baja 500 race May 30th - June 1st ?
I will be working for SCORE as a "Road Crossing Personell", (i.e.- Flagman), at race mile 364.73, at the town of Uruapan.
It is approx. 6 or 7 miles AFTER the racers turned onto highway 1, at Santo Tomas, and then pass through the military inspection station.
My primary job, is to direct the racers off of Highway 1, and back onto the race coarse.
(of coarse I will be giving special priorities to any 400EX riders, especially Yellow ones....LOL!)
My secondary job is to keep all of the pit teams, and spectators, out of the path of the oncoming racers. (This is usually the more difficult/challenging part of my job).
This will be my third time working for SCORE at the Baja races.
We will be in a 32 foot Bounder Motorhome (tan/brown color).
If you plan on being there let me know, or if you will be racing, then give me a High Five as you pass through.
Race hard, Race safe, and keep the rubber side down...
