problems shifting into 1st.

When I am in second gear and I try to down shift, it always goes into neutral instead of 1st. After I push it down again it goes into 1st, but this is not good when Im going up a hill or trail riding. Any suggestions on what to do? Does anyone else have this problem. Its an 05 400ex stock.

Shift down a little harder it should go into first. Sometimes when I try to shift up from first it goes into neutral cause I forget to do it harder.

I think I hit it pretty good... But Ill pay attention next time and see if that is what is is. Thanks.

dont you hate that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when your wheeling and yo uhave no tires so yo ustart in 1st and u try and grab 2nd redaway and u slap it into nutreal ha lol

r u using the clutch? if you are it might need adjusted.
