here's one on my cousin's 250x. they're great pipes if you run them open. even with a closed cap they're still great pipes but you'll get much less torque. very comparable to sparks.

you can see my quad to the left with (an older) sparks pipe.

Here is a picture of a full canister. I can take more pictures if you would like. I like the system it has a nice sound and it not to load at idle for people that need that and it is loud when you are on the gas but not as loud as a straight through exhaust like TC Racing system, DG, Cobra, Pro Circuit or HMF. The system allows you to add and remove disk to adjust back pressure and power range of the bike.

From What I have read TC and Supper trapp are the SAME THING.

TC actually just uses Supertrapp exhausts. Supertrapp makes the short ones that they use. you can get those straight from them rather than pay double the price from TC. Tom just fabricates his own endcap

TC Racing does use a Supertrapp Shorty muffler for his systems. But I believe he makes his own headpipe and megaphone, along with the endcap. The endcap is a open piece so the exhaust noise just flows out the end of the exhaust like a Cobra or a DG. You could put the endcap and disc design on the TC and quiet it down. I have never seen the shorty system listed for a 300EX on Supertrapp Website, I have to email or call them to see if they sell that system.

Following are pics of a supertrapp IDS exhaust which uses the same headpipe and megaphone as the Racing series exhaust. And a TC exhaust system. Along with his end cap to show the open design.

I got the same response from Supertrapp in a email that the shorty sytem is no longer available through them.

There is one on ebay about to end but look pretty rough.

i saw that, too. i'm THINKING about throwing a bid down if it doesn't go up much higher. the headpipe just looks like crap, but with a little wire wheel work and ceramic coating or something of that sort, it would look pretty good.

I am looking for someone who can get the part number off the back of the silencer mount on the shorty sytem.
