Very Clean. My brother and i are building identical bikes. after seeing your pics i guess i need to get up some pics. One ?. Why 2 different numbers? Are there two different riders?

thats not a bad idea...

running no airbox your airfilter IS going to get dirt on it

dirt = less flow = less power

think about it when its not muddy how much dirt actually gets on your seat?

i think its a greatttt design esp for your type of racing..

did you buy or make that seat? wouldnt be a bad idea to get a comp to buy the design if you didnt buy it..

i like it. think about it when your riding hot air is coming off the back of the motor and possible into the filter. this way it gets clean fresh air from the top. if your not plugging the hole with your butt

Plus the suction prolly keep ur balls dry during those long races.

wow! nice bikes, i think that is a great idea for tt racing ( the seat) cause the tracks aren't muddy, just dusty :eek2:

Those look awesome. What suspension do you like better? And why do those Laker Custom hoods look longer and flatter than usual?

He mounted the front tabs of the hood on the outside of the shrouds, most people mount them on the inside.

I did mine on the inside.

i built it myself.. and i'm not worried about dirt.. i change the filter every moto even if it has not a SPEC of dust on it.. it is a proven fact that even on a dyno, with no seat, it creats more HP.. so why not apply that theory to on the track. most of the time ur not on that part of the seat in a TT race, you're hanging off the side of the bike. So...technically it hasn't been proven to make more HP, but it just gives the filter more place to get air, so why wouldn't it? and it doesn't affect riding at all...

plus, actually when i'm coming out of a corner i can throw my butt in the back of that hole and it acts as a "hump" seat so i dont slide off the back, and can create more traction

its just my custom seat.. i like it :macho

there are 2 different bikes, #20 (with hole seat) is my bike, #22 is my brothers bike...

i personaly like my Fox Shox better, i've ridden both in a 15 lap main and i feel like my Fox really "floats" across the bumps better.. just my opinion, he likes his better.. just rider preference

and about the hood, I really didn't even think about it when mounting them, it just fit pretty naturally how I did it. but now comparing them I actually like the way mine look compared to how they are 'supposed' to be...
