about a year and half ago my 400 was stolen anyway they found it last weekend so no im starting to re build it pulled all the plastics off saw on the left side of the motor on the top it apears to be oily engien grime any ideas?

first change your oil and filter. You dont know what it been through lately.
then, degrease it, wash it, run it, then look for leaks.

that's where I'd start.

valve cover maybe. check that the bolts arent stripped out. good to hear you got it back. how much damage was done?

It was pretty hammared they blew out the whole front end the plugged the white brothers exhuast becuase there was no packing in it and then drilled two hole in the plate they put in they were pretty much douche bags

as for right now i hacked the sub frame back just after the brake light im gonna put a little pipe in there there i think im gonna put a six pack rack on.

as for plastics i think im just gonna race cut the fronts due to the fact that where they mount to the rods on the front are broken
