ok i know this has been asked more than neccessary but maybe ill learn somethin lol..... now by about mid summer i may be gettin a used bike but im not sure which, i dont even know if i want a sport or cruiser, i just wanna say sport because its the trend right now and resale value will be way better later on down the road, so could i get some suggestions? i will say i went to a dealer and sized up a gsxr600 and a zx10r (thats all they had) and the zx felt a little too big and heavy (with me at 5'8 185 is that how its supposed to feel) but the 600 felt....ill say manageable, im not even brand biased on this one i just wanna know some good years and like how far back efi and other new stuff goes?

thanks

I love the 2006 CBR1000 in black. Its all personal preferance and what you can afford. All of them are nice. My uncle just bought a brand new Hyabusa and my aunt got the GSXR750. My brothers friend had a new Ninja before he wrecked it. Like I said they are all pretty good. 600's accelerate faster than the 1000's until a certain speed then the 1000's kill them. The Busa is just a beast it handles really good ont he road and ithas so much power you never need half of it. I am not a fan of the Hyabusa because they are so big. Oh my other friend just got a new R1 an thats nice. I never really see any complaints with any of the brands or bikes.

Resale value is definitely not better on a sportbike.

Keep in mind, a 600 will down out a nice amount of power, so I'd stay away from the 1 liter bikes, especially if this is your first bike. 600's are really nice bikes. I miss mine. With gas prices they way they are I wish I had the money to get one again, but it doesn't look like I'll even have a chance to buy one until after college. I already have a nice loan out lol.

My son just sold his 04 CBR100rr and went out and bought a 08 CBR1000rr. And let me tell you, this is the best sports bike I have ever ridden. It is one amazing bike. If you can get one. DO IT, you won't regret it. Runs like a liter bike, but handles like a 600.

gsxr 750 was the best bike I've ever been on. I haven't ridden the new cbr1000's but I hear promising thing. My R6 was nice but I just wanted a hair more power. My gsxr was awesome... all 150 miles I put on it. What a shame. The R1's are nice, but the front end comes up just way to easy. I mean of course it's a 1 liter bike, but it was to the point where it wasn't even fun to ride.

yeah im pretty sure ill be gettin somethin in a 600 to keep costs and insurance down, but keep in mind im wanting something for a beginner bike that i can also maybe grow into, so ive narrowed it down to the big4 and like i said im not brand biased on bikes cause i dont know much about em but could i get some good estimated years? you know like which model had efi, ect. frst and what year.... oh and whats the difference between the 600rr and the 600f4i?

thanks

Honestly, there isn't a bad 600. The R6 is a great bike, gsxr is awesome, and the cbr is amazing. I've never ridden a new kawie 600, so I can't really tell you what I think about them. You cannot go wrong with any of these bikes. Seriously.
