Just wondering how much of a difference there is between a set of cheaper shocks like the Works, non rezzies, compared to something like a good set of elkas or Works with rezzies.

Well you are gonna have a war on your hands in no times if you ask which shocks are best.

Well first you gotta decide how much are you willing to spend on shocks.

If you have alot of money, Elka, Pep, or Axis are the way to go.

If not then i say stick with works with Rezzies.


Rezzies make the shock cooler. And they also give the shock more life. They will last longer. If you are getting shocks. And you don;t have the money for rezzies. Don;t buy them. Keep saving and buy them with rezzies when ya get the money.

And the better/more expensive shocks will be valved better. And will have more adjustability. You can fine tune them to your weight and riding style.
