The MX track was set up GP style and riders ran a fast race .
The course was well set up to where any ATV level rider could broaden there skills .
The holeshot was a nice open ,sweeping turn with no berm.

Temps would soar into the 100's this round -quite the opposite from the month before in Washington State, where riders would endure snow and hail .
Riders told me on Fridays practice that the sudden heat effected some of the riders breathing, especially those who were from milder climates.

Entries for Round 5 were down with many speculating that high rising fuel costs effected the rider turn out.
Entries were close to 500 entries .

WORCS Pros put on a Pro clinic as well this round .Youth riders would get helpful tips and tricks from the Pros to all the uprising talent .
Roughly 70 Youth riders attended the clinic.

One of the obstacles riders would endure before the racing wk end kicked off was passing sound.
This round, California State would do the testing.
Several riders were stunned and found themselves back and forth to there pits making last minute changes to pass sound check requirements of 99DB,which led to a slight delay on the Sat. unclassified race.
