Timing mod?

I was reading some threads on 400ex users installing sparks timing keys and getting quite a gain out of them and I was wondering if a similar mod could be done to a 450r to advance the timing a bit without having to stick a bunch of cash into the ignition. Anyone know?

I never heard of anything like that for a 450R.

there are some drag racers who have advanced the cam for more performance but I cant tell you how much or what was involved

now... I heard that if you retard it a little, i think by setting the cam a tooth back (whichever way back is) itll rip like a crf.. anyone else know anything about this??

yea DASA sales some stuff like that call and ask 4 keith but i think thats 4 up to 2005. they said 2006 has pretty good stuff just cut green wire.

advancing the timing works good on a 400ex because the stock position is so far off from what it could be. The 450r could have a good ignition timing already
