brake fluid easy question please help

sorry guys my manual is at my friends house and i need to buy brake fluid...what number DOT brake fluid do i use for my 1987 honda 250x thanks in advance

Every atv I've seen takes DOT4; I'd assume the 250x is the same:)

yeah DOT 4 is normally the standard for them. I buy stuff that says compatible with DOT 3 and 4 brake systems.
