piston and cam

hey im looking to do a high compression piston and a cam on my 05 any suggestions on which brands to go with and what else should be done with doing this.

a hc3 and a cp or je shelf 13.5:1 will be a cheap way of getting some decent power out of your build. the thing i would do if doing this, would be to get the head ported and polished.

be sure to keep what type of gas you want to run in mind when you're choosing the compression level of your new piston

I put a 12:1 CP piston and an 02 CRF cam in my 2004 about 2 months ago and I'm very happy with the difference.

Ya dont forget what kind of fuel you want to be running. But it doesnt really matter now,race fuel is almost as much as pump gas :(

I went with a je 13:1 on my practice quad, and its been running awesome,im very happy with it and the power it gave me. I also installed a hotcam stg.2 while I was at it. It runs great. But I run mine on 110 race gas,it gets pricey.
