I'm plannign on buying some new suspension this winter. I am 150 pounds and race quad novice and do a lot of freestyle jumping. I was wondering if I should go for a set of the non-rezy works or go for an expensive set of pep or somwthing. And also, is there a noticable difference between having rezies or not. Thanks for any help.

Well this is the powertrain forum so you won;t get many replies here. You should have put it in the Steering and Suspension forum.

Well if you have alot of money get PEP is you are on a limited budget get Works. It is as simple as that.

They don't have to be those shocks. There are a bunch of diff options. I chose Elka. They are great.

I see you are in NY. I am also from NY. I raced Quad Novice Last year in D3 and will be in AM next year.

Do you race Moto Masters, Frozen Ocean, Hickory Hill, Broome Tioga, Thunder Ridge, Or Royal Mountain?

Did you race last year? What were you riding and What was your number. I was a Yellow 400Ex #2. I was either 1st, 2nd or 3rd in just about every race. How did you end up?

tnx for the reply, i wasnt thinkin about the other forum when i typed it up, i race at walden, southwoods, diamondback and ace. Only raced once at walden with the stocker and got 7th out of 19.

i live near walden, and diamondback. i am gonna go to a few practices next spring, and maybe try a race or 2. send me a private message telling me when you'll be there too. maybe we can race. i live in Hyde Park, it's right next to poughkipsee, or however it's spelled. you probly know where poughkipsee is.

oh and i would get a set of Elka triple rates, or something in that price range. save up if you have to. Works aren't that great. i wanna get a set of quadrate long travel with houser +1's. but they cost a lot of $$$$$.
