Look what my GF bought me! It's sick, the suspension really works so I will be jumping it plus I have a 1yr warranty so that if it breaks they replace it no questions asked:D

yeah they are on sale at k-mart i want one of those bad i asked for on for christmas. post a pic of the batery because i might all ready have the batery that is needed. as for other quad models yeah they do if you want a traxtor 500 xt stick with the ds. In the pics they got huge front and back bumpes on them did u take them off or something?

Are the meats plastic?If so just take some old tires and cut them to fit,then glue em down and use a couple screws ,after we did this for my buddys kid it got better traction and was MUCH quieter on hard surfaces,not to mention the tires will last forever;) :D

I've alreay started modding it. I removed the stupid bumpers, plan on makin nerfs, and who knows what else. Iwill use the warranty. It takes 8 hours for the battery to charge even though th box says ready to run. What this about gas powered ones? where can I find one fo those?

hat little thing is wicked, I bet it eats the battery though.

Is it basically one of those Power Wheels things but on a bit of a larger scale for say 6-7 year olds?

yeah they do make a gas powered quad i think they are rare though. a while back(like a few years ago) there was a give away for one in dirt wheels they are modeled after 250r's they are pretty cool they have a little chain and stuff

they do make rc quads that are gas powered or atleast they did a few years ago. it was made by a japaneese company called Kyosho. it is an aftermarket kind not some little kiddie toy. not very stable and not very good for jumping

MUA HAHHAHA MUAHAHAHA :devil :devil :devil :devil :devil :devil OH MAN THIS IS GONNA RULE, ok dont laught at me but i have a little toy raptor with shocks and about4 hours ago me and my dad got some boards and cardboard boxes and i used tape and taped it to the kitchen counter and it went down to the floor and then went up the ramp, it was pretty cool except my cat was laying on the run way so he got tested as a crash wall and i didnt see him for awhile after that. HEHEE my cat can be a fag incase you havent figured that out. man im gonna build some jumps in my backyard if i get one of those and where are those gas powered ones at? could i get them at radio shack cuz they sell loads of RC trucks and cars and stuff

it looks big enought that you could stuff a weed eater engine in it. And after everyone buys the ds, then they will come out with a z and a c-dale and a 400. And also is the frame all metal, you could make that thing sweet. Ya just gotta get some other rc car and canibalize its parts like maybe to be able to use the weed eater engine.

the battery last for 15-20 minutes says the instruction booklet. I bought one of those that you just linked and they are gay. REAL gay.

15-20min doesnt sound like a lot

I wish they have more details on their website, can you buy new batteries and stuff, an 8hr charge doesnt seem like it'd equal 17min of play time

trickle charger charges your batteries very slowly
you can buy hobbie chargers for much stronger batteries and charge your battery in 15 mins

The quad toy just linked to the K-mart website is a bad one. It was horrible. The battery needs to be charged for 8 hours the first 2 charges then just 4 hours for all the other charges. Also I just emailed the company that makes the quad and asked if they have any plans to make other models. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

well 4 hours isnt to bad, how strong do the shocks seem, i need something that'll take some abuse so does this thing seem like it'll be good

sorry for all of the questions but i don't want to buy something ****ty even if it has a warrenty

What kinda battery is it? how many cells and what kind? You could possibly by a much nicer (peak or even timed) charger and battery's for it.
I just pick me up a nitro sport truck on the traxxas.com forum.
I used to do alot with electric r/c trucks, but now its nitro
The last truck I had (stampede) I was getting 4.5" of air, and 20ft pf distance on a lil ramp i made for it. I couldnt keep the front end on the ground (it wasnt stock at all).
anyway. let us know what this thing is like, im not expecting much from it.....no offense

Well I got to use it this morning and it's not to great. It doesnt have enough to power to even roll on top of snow but it did pretty good on the tar. Mine is broken so that could be an issue too, it doesn't steer left to right even though it;s supposed to. I would suggest if our like me and collect quad toys you pick on up cause they are cool just disappointing.
