throttle sticking

the throttle on my 400ex is sticking when i pin the throttle. I tried adjusting it at the thumb throttle part and put lubricant in it but it is still sticking a bit sometimes. It feels like it is something longer down the line near the carb. anybody have any suggestions?

mine used to be like that mine was siting for 2 in a half years and every time id press it in it come back out slower intil i put new engine in and used it it get way much better

check to make sure your cable isnt pinched anywhere, if thats not it i would take the plastic black cover off the side of the carb and watch for anywhere it might be gettin snagged
