I got some Motorworks nerfs that bolt to the footpegs for $110 shipped but to answer your question Rocky Mountain and Motosport have great prices.

My brother has the AC blackline and i dont like them. I like how they have a nice big peg but they bend and dent pretty easy and the paint chips off and they look like crap. I have pro armor and I love them!

It sounded like you may have it narrowed down, but just to make your decision even more complicated, I would consider IMS Roll Designs. Mine have saved my bacon many times. They have a nice angled up appearance on your bike that flows with stance of the 400. They were easy to put on, and look great.
Downside, is the $$. The heelguards and pegs are sold separate (although you can use the stock pegs and guards), so you end up spending a fortune on the whole deal, but they'll be the last ones you buy.
These are some old pics, but you get the point. Good luck!!

I've got the same Pro Armor Nerfs and love them. I like the heel guards and they utilize the factory pegs.

I also like the fact that they go so far forward and connect way up front, I think it gives it a better look.

I bought mine through my Parts Unlimited dealer....but he's a buddy and gave me a screaming deal.

Might as well get you some nerfs with the built in Pegs. I got IMS pegs on my 250R, and switching from stock to them is a HUGE difference, so much nicer.

And they're not even the kick up designed ones.

I agree with Buster I wouldnt take Roll Nerfs outta your decision there great I should be getting mine sometime in the next few days I also have the heelguards and the pegs and yes it is an expensive setup i've paid over $600+ for all three things but everything bolts right up so it will give you no trouble.
