I bought a late 90's yamaha blaster for $250.
At higher rpms before i shift, the engine will occasionaly pop.
I'm thinking this is a bad head gasket
I'm not sure what year it is, so i was wondering if yamaha had changed anything on the engine requiring different size head gasket.
When i got it i mixed a gallon of gas with a 32:1 ratio with the yamalube 2 stroke oil.
I only rode for about 45 minutes before i had to turn it to reserve....
I'm new to 2 strokes but i didnt think it would get that bad of mileage from a 200cc motor...
Again this maybe because i'm losing compression from gasket
Anyway you can help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
