If you wanna ruin the Bead.

I say just bring it to a local dealer or a quad shop and they will do it for like 5-10 bucks.

Most autoparts stores can do it too.

A truck and a wood ramp works good.

i tried that method, didn't work at all. the board broke. i tried the tire machine at skool and that couldn't break the bead either. you need to take it to a tire shop that has a heavy duty machine because it takes a lot of effort to get those tires of the rolled edge beads.

James Lucky. i bought one after always ruining rims and bead with air chisels, i bent one of my loading ramps driving on it with my truck, slide hammers wont do it, loader bucket almost did it. the jl works absolutely awesome, best money i ever spent. in fact it makes it so easy that when i get paddles im not even gonna get rims, just break them down everytime. its a sinch

Hey......

Here's what I do to break beads. It works every time on Turf Tamers and Holeshots, and I've even done stock tires this way. Its similar to the truck/plank theory.........

Put your trailer tongue on the side of the tire as close to the rim as possible. Then JUMP as hard as you can on the tongue. If your coupler has a lip on it, that's a bonus because you can put that lip between the tire and the rim for a little extra grip. I have even used this trick on car tires!

Good luck!

I took my razrs off my rims today.

All you need is:

2 big screwdrivers and a vehicle.

Just let all the air out of the tires and drive up on the side of the tire. Keep doing it all the way around the tire until it comes loose. Always works for me.

what ever u do dont use a cat 330 escivator and a 10 inch pipe. the damn thing crushed my rim one inch smaller. now one tire is taller than the other.

the james lucky bead breaker is $74.00ish it seems steep for a couple pices of tubing, flat stock and grips, but its well worth the money, i looked at it to maybe see if i could make one, itd be tuff, and not worth the messin around. and whoever said something about an excatvator, it almost works, but i had the tire fly out from under a backhoe once, dented the steel on the pole barn. scary

i got the tire off wit the escivator, but it crushed my rim in the process

The beat bead breaker I've used was a fork lift. I just slide the tire against a wall and put light pressure against the wall and let the forks down. Works great if you are careful. Then I used two pry bars to get the rest of the tire off. Make sure the pry bars are smooth to not mess up bead.

Once you get the factory tires off, any new ones are gravy. The factory glues the tires on the rims.

Yea I found the factory tirs to be the hardest to take off.
