handlebar mounts

IF i buy the modquad handlebar mount that relocates the lights and ignition on my 07, is this mount for any types of bars or do they have to be a specific size. If you get that particular clamp, you'll have to get 'fat' bars (1 1/8" diameter....stock is 7/8")
When you say you want a pad on top, do you mean on top of the clamp or on a crossbar on top of the bars?
If you mean a crossbar, I believe Renthal makes fat bars w/ a crossbar.

yeah i want a set of bars w/ the pad on the top, are there any other mounts like that one that will fit , regular size bars? o and 1 1/8 bar is that just thicker than stock?

Yeah, there are mounts that will fit regular size bars. I actually have the Pro Tapers (atv mids) that you linked to.
See this thread (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=349910) to see how some others (including myself) have done it.
And yes, the 1 1/8 are a bigger diameter bar than the stock 7/8.

thank you, I like the rox plate better than the one i originally posted, so thats all i would need to be able to mount those bars is that plate?

Yes, the SE's (7/8's) will fit with your stock clamps. The Rox dash will mount on top of the bar clamp to house your ignition and lights.
