I have been looking around and am interested in the Rockford Fosgate P3 and the Kicker CVR. I will be putting 2 12's under my back seat in my truck. My question is are the P3's worth the extra $100 over the CVR's? I am trying to keep this as cheap as possible while still sounding good.

what kind of truck are they going in? under the back seat? i would not go with two 12" if your puttin them under the back seat. you will not get quality sound out of that. take it from experience i've done it before. it doesnt sound good. there just isnt enough air space under any kind of back seat for two 12" to sound good. you will be better off with two 10" under the back seat. but hey, whatever floats your boat. just a suggestion.

I agree with two ten's. A truck just isnt big enough for the 12's to sound right. 2 high quality 10's will definitely sound better

I don't know any truck that has enough room under the seat to properly provide the correct airspace for a pair of 12's .....

i helped put 3 JL W3 10" subs under the seat of a 1983 short n wide chevy and we were very impressed with how loud they were. if i remember right they pushed out around 140 db's.
