That'd be my suggestion too. If not that you need to get some really beefy grips or something, and then you'll have to keep changing them since grips don't stay "grippy" for long.

i love my twist throttle. like i cut a radiator hose in half then slit it and put it under both grips and tied it on there it worked good intill the grips got wet. So i was thinking maybe taking zip ties and not cutting them off or anything and putting those all over my grips

Handguards will help some, just to keep the mud off of your hands and grips.

Its gonna look goofy as hell, but you could take and make your own versions of the "Gaulntelts". Ugly but VERY effective.

If anyone has a pic of those, could you please post it for me? I dont have a picture of them.

Sadly, the most effective thing to be able to hold onto the grips in extreme mud is a jug from a gallon of milk. You can cut a hole in the jug and duct tape it onto your bars then cut a hole just big enough to stick your hand in it. I'll see if I can find a picture of Doug Eichner. He does it all the time in the mud. Gives your hand and grip 360 degree protection from mud.

This isnt exactly what I was looking for, but kind of gives an idea. Can leave a smaller hole for your hand than in this picture.http://bbs.off-road.com/photobb/data/3514/sun12_013.jpg
Also, heres a link to a few different pictures. Mud Race (http://gallery.off-road.com/photobb/showphoto.php/photo/117618/size/big/cat//sortby/f/sorttime/9999/way/asc)
Side note: If you look at those pictures, it actually shows Dougs highly controversial studs that round.
